Scratch card promo in Bluff Magazine
Some people are experiencing problems with this promo, this is how the procedure goes:
This promotion is only for new players who have signed up to Party Poker using the PokerNews special link: http://www.pokernews.com/free50/ (only this one). If players have downloaded PartyPoker through a site other than PokerNews, unfortunately they are NOT eligible for this promotion and CANNOT receive $50 Free. If players register more than one account with PokerNews, or Party Poker, they will also forfeit eligibility for this offer.
These are the steps on how to receive the bonus:
1. Player visits http://www.pokernews.com/free50/
2. Player inputs unique scratch card code
3. Player registers a new account
4 Player goes to the cashier and enters his real correct data (name, last name,etc). No need to deposit.
5. Player inputs his/her details (must be same details as on their Party Poker account).
6. Player receives unique phone activation number.
7. Player receives automated phone call. User inputs code and receives authorization confirmation (displayed in real-time on screen).
8. Once a user/player has finished with the automated phone code activation, if successful, their details will be automatically entered into our PokerNews database. From here, PokerNews staff will check their details, to ensure that the player is properly entitled to the promotion.
9. The money will be granted to the account after the call made by
Pokernews staff to verify the account. It might take some time, money will not come to your account immediately.
Players have to enter their details correctly, have to use their country code AND regional code in their phone number. Do NOT use a ‘+’ sign (or any symbol).
If you really did sign up using the PokerNews special link, but you still have problems, please send your details including:
1. Name.
2. Account Name (ensure this is NOT your screen name. Some players have supplied their screen name or an incorrect account name and have not yet received their cash, even though they may be eligible).

We have noticed that in this blog list we meet many other languages blogs, that is not right. Because this directory is only for English language blogs, and your friends who speak your language will not see you blog just because it is not in the right list (language list). Pokerstars Currency Exchange
I will try explain how the mechanism of currency exchange works and what to do if you are having problems with it.
Well first of all you have to go to http://www.pokernews.com/exchange/ and select what action, sell/buy, you want to do. If any of those options is unavailable, that means that there is nothing to "sell". We do not provide with $T or $W. We are just serving as an exchange point. If someone sells any $T/$W only then we can sell it to other players.
Choose your action and a sum of what you want to buy/sell. Enter your pokerstars nickname and the password you have registered with pokerstars.
IMPORTANT: you have to use correct email and username if you want the transaction to go through.
When you have made the transaction request above, you need to make the request in PokerStars. You do this by following these steps:
- Login to your PokerStars software.
- Go to the "Requests" menu, then "Trade T$/W$", then "Sell T$/W$"
- Select T$ or W$
- Put "PokerNews" (without the quotes) into the "Sell to"/"Buy from" field.
- Put the amount of T$ or W$ you are selling/buying.
- Put in the price of the transfer as calculated when you made the transaction request above.
- Submit the request by clicking "OK"
That is it on your end.
Sometime it takes time for this transaction to go through. And here are the reasons why:
- You did no have the T$/W$ in your account (please make sure that you have unregistered from the tournament and currency is in your account, you can do that pressing the "Cashier" button)
- There is not enough T$/W$ for sale at the moment. This is how it works: when people do the requests for buying T$/W$ they are put in the "queue" in which they wait for the requested amount of the currency to appear in pokernews account. As soon as some amount of T$/W$ appears on our account, the first person in the "queue" will get it. The rest are still waiting. If your request is not processed in 6 hours, it will reset and you will have to request for it again.

Pokerstars problems
If you experience any problems with Pokerstars, just contact affiliates@pokerstars.com with a detailed description of your problem. Pokernews support can not help you because Pokerstars insist that the communication would stay between the room and the player, poker room - client confidentiality.
