Downswing
Lately ive been running preatty terrible and losing quite abit.Im on a 1.8m downswing which sucks alot even if its exspected to happen.Generally i dont like to let poker effect me in any other aspects of my life but lately ive just been getting frustrated exstremely easy, really impatient and asshole to alot of people. Also when i play poker even when i lost 1.2m to isildur in like 2days i didnt get physically upset in any way like breaking a keyboard or whatever and i havnt been like that for a long time probly since i started playing 25/50 but last session i lost about 400k to gus at 1 point when i was stuck around 600ish i kicked my trashcan so hard my foot was hurting for atleast 5mins after and threw my chair. Once that happened i knew i wasnt playing correctly no matter what my brain told me about the hand it was flawed logic always logic to try and get even at that point.I didnt quit and somehow won $$$ back but i realised that i need to take a break if my mind is incapable of taking another badsession/run whatever then i need to relax and wait until i am stable enaugh to handle the swings.i have not played in about 4days and have found my mind not really thinking or caring about poker at all which is a nice break.I've decided to take the isildur challenge which is going to happen next sunday.Im probly going to play a couple sessions right before sunday to get prepared.I doubt ill play any significant sessions until after the isildur challenge is over hopefully then my head will be in the right place
AUSSIE MILLS AND GETTING DESTROYED
I just got back from australlia i went with all the pokernews guys and the trip was amazing.I did really poorly in live events although i ran prty terrible.Had quads flopped on me 3 times and kk vs aa out of probly less then 2k hands live. Patrik Antonious was also at my main event table. It was kind of cool to be able to meet and talk to someone ive played online with and is regardered so highly in the poker world.Even though live poker didnt go well i got some sickrungood in australlia online winning around 500k in probly 4 sessions none over 4hours. The day after i got home the 1st session i decided to play i lost 700k to phil galfond and ran 500k under ev which is the 2nd biggest losing day ive ever had and the worst luck ive ever had in a single session. I guess i cant really complain but thats exactly what im going to do because for the last 3months ive ran prty hot but im still well over 1m under ev. And its all taking shots buyin wise in ev im up way more then i should be but anytime i play 50/100+ i just seem to run like absolute shit.Obviously ive had sessions were ive ran hot but in the long scheme of things ive ran terrible at nobebleeds.Whereas at 25/50 im infinite buyins over allinev. Theres probly one exception and thats been vs patrik antonious at 500/1k im even in allin ev but ive been winning at a bigger winrate then exspected. Also I SEEN A KANGAROO BITCHES
highstakes
There has been alot of highstakes action lately mostly 300/600 plo 6m which ive played quite abit the games are preatty good in general. ive done really bad at 300/600 i think that its the stake ive lost the most money at dont have all my HM stats but i think im down close to 1m at it. but hopefully these games keep running and i can switch that around. having isildur1 become a stars pro is defintily going to add alot of highstakes action and hopefully because hes a stars pro now he will be able to give action for a long time instead of him going busto.
aside from plo ive been getting decent action at NL getting a stars roll definitly helped with that as there is way more 6m games running and the average level of play is weaker but thats more for 25/50-50/100 on FT ive been playing sauce1234 at 100/200 nlhu so far we've played around 13k hands think hes up slightly not sure this is a match that has frustrated me very very much as i think sauce has been making some big mistakes but i havnt yet been able to crush him really bad other then a 200k session which i lost back 250k later to him in a session its annoying to see players like nutsinho and noluck17 win 35 buyins off him in 1 session knowing there weaker players then myself yet i have seemed to be unable to do it heres probly the most interesting hand out of the entire match i think its blatently ovbious why i valuebet the river with j10 high
