This summer's WSOP is just around the corner and I am knee deep in preparations for what is sure to be an epic summer in Vegas. I've put together what I think is a pretty good schedule of tournaments for myself. Obviously as a midstakes grinder, it's tough to play a full series of WSOP events, so my schedule will mostly consist of Venetian Deepstack events. I am playing one $1500 WSOP event which I am really looking forward to. And I have also added in a few of the events at the Grand Series of Poker. I played a few of these last year and managed a deep run in one. The fields were super soft and actually, in a weird way, they are a nice break from the grind at the Rio and the Venetian.

The house is booked, and I am really looking forward to a summer with all of the other TPE guys. Casey, Marc and Danny will be there for the entire summer with me and I know Shaun, Diego and Tim will be making appearances as well, so it should be a blast. Along with actually playing poker, I am in charge of marketing for Tournament Poker Edge, so I am busy getting ready for that. This involves getting promo items printed up, stocking up on merchandise and preparing to do a ton of TPE Live podcasts from the house. Make sure you check those out ( or subscribe on iTunes so you don't miss any of the action.

Last year we had a great time hanging out with TPE members, and I hope we get to do the same this year! Make sure if you are going you let us know so we can meet up on breaks and what not. I am pretty sure we are going to have a nice pool party one day as well and of course all of you TPE members will be invited! You do not want to miss out on Casey's grill skills!

As always, make sure you follow along on Twitter ( as I will be updating all summer long!
